Julie started on her yoga path in college, when she was introduced to Feldenkrais, Alexander, Body-Mind Centering, and other movement techniques. During that time, Julie learned how simple, inquisitive movement can inform, shift, heal and create space for joy.
She brings those same concepts into her yoga practice and classes today. For Julie, yoga is a refuge — a place to practice self-care, inquiry, and ultimately find a sense of peace.
Julie completed her teacher training at Breathe Yoga Center in 2014 and became a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist in 2020.
In addition to yoga, she works as a freelance graphic designer and runs an organization working to end period poverty and stigma.
